Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants,
toddlers,
preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987,
it
pioneered the concept
of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum
that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition
that all children are musical.

What will you and your
child find in a Music Together® class?
Rainbow colored falling
leaves, cows sitting in the old oak tree, tyrannosaurus rex, shining stars,
rockets to the moon, trains to the beach. You will hear happy village harvest
dances, Korean lullabies, Cuban rain forest songs, Jazz, classical, oldies and
goodies, music from around the globe as well as original compositions written
for Music Together classes. You'll find drums of all sorts, bells, triangles,
shakers, scrapers, kitchen instruments, and scarves, - instruments galore!
You
will find high energy movers and quiet observers all intently involved in their
own way in the exciting musical happenings around them, whether it's a rousing
Israeli wedding dance, or the glorious sounds of Big Ben's bells and chimes
played on resonator bars.
Music Together classes provide a true family music
experience, as siblings can attend the mixed age classes together. Moms, dads,
aunts, uncles, and grandparents are all invited to attend.

Is your 5-, 6-, or
7-year-old ready for the next step?
In the Music Together Big Kids classroom,
you will find 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds experimenting with new musical activities
like conducting and improvisation, story songs, "silly operas," and
game songs, as well as solfege, instrumental solos and ensembles, choreography,
harmony singing, vocal development, and keyboard and drumming skills.
